Roulette, simple and exciting

Inevitably when we play roulette our mind finds images of other times, with women and men of great class sipping cocktails playing in the most exclusive casinos of Monte Carlo and the French Riviera.
The online roulette rules are not different from those of classic roulette, so there is no doubt that the excitement caused by playing online is as strong as that experienced in a physical and not virtual environment.
The simplicity of the Roulette rules, combined with an easy to follow gambling action, have allowed this game to become perhaps one of the most popular gambling games in history.
Introduction to Roulette
The target
The player has to guess on which box the ball that turns inside a wheel thrown by the croupier will fall.
The table
According to the rules of the game of roulette, the game table is composed of a wheel, inside which the ball spins, and an area where bets are played on numbers. The wheel has 36 boxes numbered from 1 to 36 (half black, half red) and two boxes numbered 0 and 00 (green).
The wheel mechanism
The croupier spins the wheel and introduces the ball that moves in the opposite direction on the upper edge of the wheel. As the intensity of the turn of the wheel decreases, the ball also loses momentum, also due to the action of the bumpers placed between the boxes, until it finally stops in a box.
Special chips
Since the bets are played on the common betting area of the table, ie not placed in front of each individual player, the croupier assigns to each player colored spherical chips, each color corresponds to one player. These particular chips are used exclusively for roulette.
The player at the time of converting the classic chips into colored can also decide the value of each colored chip. If the player changes 100 euro of normal colored chips, for example, he can decide that each new colored chip has a value of 1 euro (thus receiving 100 colored chips) or 2 euro (receiving 50 colored chips) and so on, according to preferences of each. The croupier takes into account the value of each chip based on the color thanks to a special signaling system on the table.
Bets
The online roulette rules specify that both the minimum bets and the table limits must be reported on the table itself. As a result the player can play as many bets as he wishes, but within the limits of the table, on each spin of the wheel. When the ball has stopped on a box, the croupier signals the winning bet in the area of the table dedicated to betting. After withdrawing the losing bets, the croupier will pay the winning bets to the lucky players.
Online roulette games are well regulated and you shouldn't expect any fraud but still you should be cautious. Recently there have been talks on new regulations by the UK Gambling Commision but we will post an update as soon as we have more information.
The differences between the variants of roulette
Between the European roulette there is the English one that is distinguished by some differences (for example, the absence of the rule of En prison, as in American roulette) compared to the European roulette in which it still falls, so we will talk about it specifically separately.
The differences that are found between the various versions are both image and mechanism of play. So, for example, the table has a slightly different appearance, like, to put it another way, in European roulette the writings are not in French and there is also a different layout of the sections of the simple bets. In some casinos, such as Want to Win, we can also find the section where you can find the numbers according to the three most popular gaming systems, namely near zero, 5/8 series and orphans.
As in French roulette, there is of course the wheel, in which there are 37 boxes for the numbers from 1 to 36, alternating red and black, and 0 green. This means that the percentage in favour of the bank is equal, equally to the French version, to 2.7%.
Even if the English roulette, as we mentioned above, does not provide for it, in the European version itself there is the rule of the En prison, ie that when the 0 comes out, the simple bets (red / black, equal / odd and passe / manque, also known as high / low) are "imprisoned" and kept waiting for the next round. If in such a round the combination of the imprisoned bet comes out, it is released and will continue to play normally, so it can win or lose according to the result, otherwise it is lost.
Another substantial difference between European and French roulette is the absence of the Partage rule, by which the banker's margin is reduced by half (from 2.7% to 1.3%), as the stake is divided in half with the banker. Consequently, the lack of this rule excludes the possibility, in the case of En prison, of increasing the player's advantage over the bank.
Roulette in general, but European roulette in particular, is the strong point of some online casinos. As mentioned above, the rules are practically the same as for French roulette, so the combinations of numbers and options as well as the betting systems are basically those of the original game.
Conclusion: a game for everyone
At roulette, the rhythm linked to the ritual of betting and paying bets is less intense than other gambling games, and for this very reason, it is definitely a game that lends itself well to novice players, who therefore have the opportunity to observe carefully and make decisions less quickly than in Blackjack or Craps.
